Karitane Holiday Home + Guesthouse

The Guesthouse is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and small families. The Main House can accommodate larger families and groups (up to 12 people).
The Guest House: This living space is very clean, warm, cosy and furnished to a high standard. It is private but also opens out onto the main street of Karitane. It has it's own bathroom, toilet, living area that can be closed off (with curtains) and used as a second bedroom (leather double sofa bed). There is a small kitchenette offering a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger, dinner set, cups, glasses, cutlery etc. Tea, coffee, milk, fruit and cereal is provided. Kayak available. Prices start at $99.

The Main House: This is an entire home with four bedrooms, a cabin with queen been and two sofa beds in the living area. It is warm, cosy, sunny, has a log burner for the cooler months, a pizza over, covered decks and a sunny veranda. It looks out over the river, ocean and peninsular. There is a double kayak for use. The Karitane store is across the road. Prices start at $125 per night.

We reckon our space is pretty special and unique! For starters, it is downtown in the Karitane CBD! You will be amongst the village life :) If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place. Having said that, there is plenty happening here...if you want it.
Karitane seems to have a special place in the hearts of many New Zealanders! It really is a great place for a weekend getaway.
