Karaka Country Retreat

The Karaka Country Retreat located in south Auckland, 10,000 sqm lifestyle block with peaceful NZ country scenery and landscape. It operates traveler accommodation, catering and function business and enjoy a very good reputation.

We have 10 brand new stand alone ensuite chalets to stay. That is perfect for both travelers and local. Each chalet is $150 per night, and only $550 for a week. If very long term stay, please talk to owner to find lower price.

Each chalet is about 20 sqm room size, and with a big timber deck awning, private bathroom and all furniture, TV, mini fridge, heater, free unlimited WIFI, and good view.

The retreat is perfect for all kind of functions such as birthday party, cooperate event, wedding, friends reunion etc. It has a modern style main house, plenty of car park, a lot of indoor and outdoor fun activities, such as bumping ball, archery, football, kite, farm animals etc. It has a big dinning room and a huge outside lawn area, plus a special children's play room.

Also, we show up in different other parties, functions, events around Auckland, ding mobile BBQ whole lamb on site. We bring all equipment and make your backyard party very special. No matter weather and distance, give us a call and we will go.

The location is only 35 mins driving to Auckland CBD, 20 mins driving to airport, 8 mins to the Motor way. The property is just off the main road (karaka north road), very easy to find.

Near the retreat, there are a bunch of attractions, such as horse riding, waterfall hiking, shooting range, golf course, black sand beach, Spookers, etc.
