Jordan Edwards Tennis

HI, I’m Jordan Edwards. I’m a 14 year old tennis player from Christchurch, New Zealand. I have played tennis since I was 5yrs old, and have dedicated the last 7yrs to becoming the best I can be. I’m 1st year student at Shirley Boys High School. I won my 1st tournament in 2013 and have since had continued success, highlighted by finishing 3rd at 12s Nationals and representing New Zealand in 2016.

I’m coached by my good friend Mark Wilson, who I helped raise over $1500 for when his young son was diagnosed with cancer.

The past 2 years I’ve had some great opportunities to travel and play in Australia, and next year I hope to travel to France to play.

I also enjoy coaching and am a volunteer coach at my club, where I help with the clubs junior coaching program. I’m also working towards furthering my coaching through the Tennis NZ coaching qualifications program.

My goal for the future is to be able to make a career out of tennis, playing and coaching.
