Jemma's Home Based Childcare & Education Services with Zilvia

Zilvia's Home Based Childcare and Education Services offers quality, safe and one-on-one childcare and pre-school education services for children aged 0 to 5 years old in and around Favona and Mangere in South Auckland.

Operated by Nalini Zilvia Sharma, she is a certified EduCarer for Jemma's Homebased Education and Childcare and had worked in Early Childhood Education industry for over 6 years before setting up her own home-based service in mid-2015.

As an EduCarer, Zilvia's Homebased Childcare and Education Services is endorsed by New Zealand's leading home-based childcare and education services provider - Jemma's - with regular visits from the organisation's qualified, registered Early Childhood teachers to provide guidance, support and assistance.

Zilvia herself is very, very passionate about Early Childhood Education and Childcare. Apart from her family, music and the arts, there is nothing she loves more than spending time with children - from creating, teaching and sharing lessons with them, to playing, singing, dancing and laughing with them. She is patient, caring, respectful and emphatic - qualities that are essential for excellent child caregivers.

Zilvia's home is located directly across Boggust Park in Favona so walks and playtime in the children's section of the park is a regular part of your child's day. Her backyard has a slide and sandpits for those fun outdoor activities that children love to engage in, especially during fine weather days.

Zilvia also prepares daily - from scratch - nutritious and tasty snacks and meals for all children in her care. If your child has special dietary needs, please discuss this with her for available meal options.

While her opening hours are from 8:30am to 7:00pm from Mondays to Saturdays, Zilvia is able to work flexible hours during these days when the need arises. She also offers babysitting services after-hours for any aged child, including during school holidays.

For children over 3-years of age, Zilvia offers weekly, government-subsidised rates for 20-hours of Early Childhood care and education. For those under 3-years, parents can make arrangements with Work and Income.
