Inspired by Vintage

Following 3 years of planning and collecting many vintage items from various locations, we had two fantastic family weddings with a vintage theme and had the weddings we always dreamed of.

The finer details were always very important to us when planning these wedding and when all put together made the wedding days extra special.

Now we have had our day we thought it would be great to share many of these special items with other bride and groom’s looking to create a Vintage Style wedding.

The vintage decorations used for the weddings were completely handmade items by my two daughters and I.

We used old decanters as water bottles, each table setting was a mixed set, with a different dinner plate to side plates and mixed cup and saucer. We had handmade napkins with hessian and doily napkin rings.

We also had many other vintage accessories; including old painted suitcases, one with a lovely area for cards to be placed. A lovely old picture frame done up with hessian backing for table seating plans. 40 meters of Hessian bunting with doily and fabric heart details. We have a large number of lace and pearl decorated jars for candles. Another set of jars to hang with candles.
