All property inspections are carried out to the NZ Standard 4306:2005 Residential Property Inspection with a list of over 100 areas to be inspected if applicable.
At IBIS we check for local body council permit approved alterations and installations i.e. log burners. We inspect the soundness and quality of the building or it's alterations, to make sure there has been no cover up work carried out on your potential investment. We also offer a Full Advisory Service "a one-stop shop".
A comprehensive "Plain English" report is prepared on your property, detailing both the strong and weak points of the property and recommending any courses of action to be considered. This report can include copies of permits if requested. This leads to a better understanding of the condition of a property by a lender thus making it easier to secure any finance required.
