Huanui College

Huanui College was established on 8 February, 2010 and officially opened by the Honourable Heather Roy and Mayor Stan Semenoff on March 20, 2010, at our Opening Day. The school came about by the vision of its founder, Mr Evan Hamlet. Evan, originally from Dargaville, wanted to create a school here in Northland where children could access an education that was both nationally and globally competitive in both middle and secondary schooling. The school is situated on 30 hectares of rolling hills enclosed by stone walls.
