At Holmes Farsight we provide the full range of compliance and regulatory guidance services.

This includes general commercial and the more specific building and construction regulatory requirements.

We provide a full end-to-end service. We act on behalf of our client throughout the process of acquiring all required Council consents; this includes all submissions and responses.

Our Compliance Services Include
•Managing and fast tracking all required building consents and permits, including Change of Use Building Consents, and Certificates of Public Use.
•Determining the Optimum ‘Compliance Pathway’ for your project and expediting the Council consent process.
•Providing Commercial and Building Regulatory interpretation and representation.
•Undertaking full Commercial and Construction Compliance Assessments including Due Diligence; Feasibility Reports; Risk Assessments.
•Overseeing required NZ Fire Service Approvals.
•Advising and assisting with District Plan and Resource Management Act compliance requirements.
•Managing required commercial consents, including Retail Signage Permits, Liquor Licensing Services, Health Permits, and Commercial Trade Waste Permits.

Specific to Building and Construction Compliance Requirements
•Documenting and indexing how your building design complies with the New Zealand Building Act and Building Code.
•Obtaining the required Code Compliance Certificates (CCC’s) and Certificates of Public Use (CPU).
•Delivering essential reports for building consents, including Sec 112 and Sec 115.
•Providing advice and guidance regarding building work that is exempt from Council Building Consents.
•Developing technical investigation and compliance reports, including Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) complaints, Determinations, Waivers and Modifications.
