Harmony in the Home was created to provide Parents and Nannies with a solution for managing children's behaviour.

Jessie is one of the brightest minds in child behaviour today. She is a sought after Consultant both Nationally and Internationally, and is passionate about how children learn and develop.

As a Registered Teacher and High-profile Nanny - she has worked with children for over 20 years, assisting families in London, New York, Los Angeles, Russia, Indonesia, Australia and her home base, New Zealand.

Jessie has also assisted many different educational services worldwide, including her most recent post as the Director of a Montessori Preschool.
With this experience and knowledge of differing philosophies and frameworks, she has developed a solution to honour the true nature of children.

Her approach - the ‘Nurture their Nature method’, is based around respecting the child for his unique temperament and nature.
There are 4 different ‘Natures’ of children

The Social Type -
Upward movement, playful, fun loving, random

The Strong Type -
Forward movement, active and reactive, busy, determined

The Sensitive Type -
Downward movement, Subtle, Intuitive, Peaceful

The Structured Type -
Still, reserved, reflective, analytical, perfecting, serious

She helps Parents by discovering which one of the four unique natures their child leads with.

Like a seed, each Nature requires a different environment and different responses in order for them to thrive.
This insight into their innate motivations, allows Parents to easily view any situation from the child's perspective, to understand and respond in a way that is honoring to their nature.
