Harewood is a suburb of Christchurch, New Zealand. It is north-west of the city centre. It had a population of 3,234 in the 2006 census, an increase of 477 since 2001.TransportState Highway 1 (SH1) passes through Harewood and separates the land use. Commercial use can be found to the west of SH1, whilst residential use is predominant east of SH1.EconomyChristchurch International Airport is located in this suburb.
