Hair to Train is the largest hairdressing training provider in the Bay of Plenty. We are proud of our achievements and are dedicated to creating professional hair stylists through inspiring growth and learning, maximising self esteem and caring for each other.

We have two hair academies both with commercial salons where our students gain the practical skills required for future employment. Located in Anson St, Tauranga and Totara St, Mount Maunganui.

Hair to Train hairdressing academy is registered and accredited by the NZ Qualifications Authority under the provisions of the Education Act 1989 to provide education and training and undertake assessment based on Hairdressing Levels 1-4.

Train for free! No student loan! At Hair to Train there are opportunities to attend our hairdressing courses and train as a hairdresser for free! We are the only provider who offers the Youth Guarantee Programme - a Government initiative which allows 16, 17, 18 and 19 year old students to complete a Level 3 NZQA qualification absolutely free.
