G.J. Sheldrake Limited has for over 35 years been involved in log haulage in the Central North Island as a contractor to initially N.Z. Forest Products Limited and more latterly as a key supplier Carter Holt Harvey Forests Limited. The company has continued to grow and expand; in the year 2000 it diversified into the transportation of pulp & paper products for Carter Holt Harvey Pulp & Paper and general freight to destinations New Zealand wide. And of late we have been involved in the transportation of sawn timber from Red Stag timbers Mill at Waipa near Rotorua organising transport over 40 loads per day to customers throughout NZ. .

In mid 2015 the company expanded into Rotorua and purchased a fleet of seven trucks based in Rotorua.

The head office is situated in Waratah Place Tokoroa with all the day to day running of the trucks being done out of the Rotorua office situated in Sala St.

The Company currently owns and operates a modern fleet of Twenty Five truck and trailer units.

The Company is very proactive in the New Zealand transport industry and sees itself as a leader with many new initiatives and improvements within the industry
