Genesis Building

Genesis Building is run by owner-operator Shawn Boyd.

"I have over 20 years experience in the building industry, and have worked as a project manager, site foreman, kitchen designer and installer, commercial furniture manufacturer and installer, and hands-on carpenter.

My skills and experience range across all areas of building, including renovations and alterations, kitchen cabinetry, bathroom refits, and new residential homes.

One thing I enjoy about the building process, is taking the concepts of dreams and ideas, putting them into a creative process, and seeing the outcome in the final build.

My interests and hobbies are spending time with family, being outdoors, fishing and diving, creative and innovative ideas, and sustainable building."
