Gardens of the World

Gardens of the World is privately owned by the day family who brought it 5 years ago. it was originally owned by Geoff Etherington and his wife Gillian.
It is located on the corner of Paton Rd and clover Rd east in hope.
It has a wide variety of different planets a species for all over the world.

There are three staff as well as two owns on site.
The two owners are there each day and are very approachable and always willing too talk to the public.

Our longest staff member is Jason;
Jason has worked for the Gardens of the world for 22 years and has a lot of knowledge about the plants within the garden. he is extremely approachable and always willing to give a hand. His mentor, Geoff was the creator of this beautiful escape and continues on his knowledge.

Spook is another member of our team,
she has been working along side Jason for 1 and a half years and is very approachable and easy to deal with. She is still learning about the gardens and the many things that it has to offer but she is always keen to answer your question,

Chris is the apprentice of the team,
He has been working there for just over a year and is under the wing of the two talented gardens above. He is always willing to share as much as he has learned with the public and if he is unsure he will always try and find the answer for you.

We have a entrance donation of five dollars for an adult and a gold coin for a child. we welcome all to our little escape 10 minutes from Richmond, New Zealand
