F.W.C.S started in April-May of 2015 as a casual 'get back into work' venture between two friends after some personal upheavals to overcome.
Within 4-6 months, bumps and scrapes, sweat and sleepless nights later, we managed to fortify a solid weekly income of an extra $40 each, eventually turning into more income! Felt like a million at the time! This gave me an idea...I didn't want to work for 'The Big Man' anymore and neither did my friend. Whilst cleaning houses for the odd friends with children to make their lives easier and the odd one off clean, we found ourselves creating a customer network. Only if it was to be part time until we found other avenues of work, it was working for us financially aswell has helping others! Let's go full time with this, we thought, and start a business!
We grew fast and strong, that for the first 4-6 months there weren't enough hours in the day to help people with their cleaning requirements!! But we managed it well...here I am 10 months later.
Now myself, Jen, is the proud owner of F.W.C.S and my dear friend found her calling of becoming a qualified beautician and has accomplished starting her own salon! Amazing what you can achieve when you wake up one morning with a simple idea....
I personally have since had to hire a part-time cleaner to assist with my busy schedule. We cover from out west in Helensville, South Head and all the way over the North Shore up to Gulf Harbour. Business couldn't be better! I am constantly striving to work harder and utilise our hours wisely and cost effectively, not just for ourselves but for you as the CUSTOMER! This means, researching new cleaning products, equipment and keeping our advertising up to date on FB. We value your thoughts, comments, posts, pictures and even just a quick 'Hello' message. We are diligent in our cleaning with high standards and believe it or not, we clean for YOU! I am always to trying to think of ways to help our community in any way possible. Whether it be paying it forward to clean a loved ones home or someone in need, or fundraising for our local schools.....more on these ideas to follow this year. Watch this space.
I have been lucky enough to also attend a free 6 week business training course to commence at the end of February-early March 2016. Not only will I learn more in running a business, but it will hopefully teach me on how to better accomodate our customers' needs. Every family is different of course.
With a strong 15 years background working in customer services, I understand the importance of you as the customer. Whether it be a weekly regular clean or a one off spring clean or exit rental clean, as a customer you are valued! So I want to say a huge thank you to all that have helped us get this far and long may it continue.
