Fitzroy Tavern

The Fitzroy Tavern is a Wainuiomata icon. Opening in the 1960's under the name Wainuiomata Tavern it instantly became the place to be in Wainuiomata with its mix of public & private bars as well a restaurants & bistros.

Today the Tavern as its know by the locals is still that place to be, with 18 gaming machines, the best full service TAB in Wainui, function rooms, regular karaoke, and some of the best local bands New Zealand can offer.

So come down and grab a pint and have a chat with the locals, some of which have been drinking there since day one!
