****KETTLEBELLS****
Originating in Russia, a kettlebell is a centuries-old training tool that looks like a cannon ball with a handle. It is thought that the original kettlebells were actually counter-weights used in Russian markets. Country folk started testing their strength with them and eventually they became very popular in Russia as a training method, and still are to this day. A Russian strong man is referred to as a "Girevik" which translates to "Kettlebell Man". Girya is Russian for Kettlebell.

Kettlebell training is different than other forms of weight training because many parts of the body are exercised simultaneously, and in addition kettlebell training elevates the heart rate for effective cardiovascular training.

Kettlebells can be used in ballistic (explosive) swinging movements utilizing the whole body along with momentum or used in more traditional press and squat exercises. The displacement of the weight from the hand requires that the stabilizing muscles engage more with each movement and therefore requiring more muscle firing at once. Kettlebell exercises are whole-body exercises requiring full body integration and core stabilization. There is no such thing as isolated muscle work in kettlebell training.

This 45-1HR class will give fast results for strength, endurance and muscle toning by challenging both the muscular and cardiovascular systems with dynamic, total body movements.

****BOXFIT****
BOXFIT classes are one of the most effective methods to lose weight, tone muscles, and build strength. Classes involve mainly boxing combinations, cardio drills, and specific boxing exercises. This class is designed for beginner to advanced levels of fitness. Workout includes using upper and lower body and is great for anyone wanting to increase their cardio vascular fitness and lose those unwanted kilos.


****BOXOUT****
This class is designed for you lunch time people who need that quick fitness fix, because you hate getting up early to work out, and life takes over after work. BOXOUT is a 20min high impact, boxfit cardio strength and endurance session. Includes boxing on the bags and exercises – completed with an abs workout and stretch down.

****300****
This class consists of a number of different exercise stations and the overall total reps equals 300! To give you that over all work out, challenging not only your body - but your mind too. But if your mentally finding it hard to get through the burn in this class, you can always rely on supportive peers to push you on through, to give you that little bit of a kick, when you really need it!

****BOXFIT BLOWOUT****
This class explains exactly that – 30mins, 10 rounds of intense boxing, cardio, strength BLOW OUT! This class makes you dread it before it starts, but loving it when you’re done. A great way to kick start your weekend, making you feel awesome.

****BOXFIT KIDS****
This class only operates during the school term.
We have had many requests to provide our Boxing based Fitness program to the children of existing clients and their friends. We like to provide what our clients want so we offer "BOXFIT Kids".
It is a non-contact boxing based program that will instruct the children on the safe way to deliver boxing moves but also will emphasis a no-fighting approach to life.
Our main emphasis is on making it safe for the children and to improve their health and fitness, strength and agility, through supervised exercise and education.

****BOXCAMP****
From this class you can expect, increased fitness levels, increased energy, and increased motivation. You will be given a breakfast of the week tip to compliment your new unique workout. Three 1 hour sessions per week for 5 weeks! Register your interest for the next BOXCAMP challenge now!
It is specifically designed to integrate tough work- outs with the support and motivation of a team. The activities are challenging and each day of boot camp is unique.
Competition is encouraged and trying your best is mandatory.
Individual and team work-outs push everyone on their own level.
The classes are hard, but everyone tries their best and is expected to perform at their own level.
This class is not included in the membership plan or casual session rates.
