Eggtastic Eggs

This small budding business is being run by our 11 year old autistic son who enjoys all aspects of chicken farming.

We have three groups of hens:

The Machines: These girls are brown shavers that provide our free range eggs

The Baby Makers: A group of five hens different breeds living with one rooster providing fertilised eggs

The Nursery: Which consists of any hen that get broody and our favourite hens, along with baby chickens ranging in ages from a few days old up to a year old.


We will be offering a range of products and services:

* Free range eggs:
--$6 per dozen
- $12 for a tray of 30 eggs
If you return the carton you will receive a discount on your next purchase

*Fertilized Eggs:
- $2 each
Our wee group of hens are all different breeds: Polish Hen (Cruella), Orpington (Magic and Henrietta), Barred Rock (Charlie), Barnevelder (Red) and Barred Rock rooster Ricky

*Chickens:
- 6 to 12 weeks chickens $10 each (these will be unsexed)
- 3 months old up from $25 (these will be sexed)
If you don't have a broody hen or don't want the hassle of incubating your own eggs, we can do it for you! All our babies will be well socialized , having human contact right from hatching! They will be used to people/cats/dogs/goats.

At Eggastic Eggs we are committed to the wellbeing of all chickens, if you purchase an unsexed baby from us and it turns out to be a rooster we are happy to pick up and bring it back to the farm. We also understand that sometimes circumstances change, if at any time you are unable to care for your hens/roosters/chickens we will always have space available for them. We are also happy to take in rescued poultry and provide them with a happy safe home.
