I can help with installing free antivirus programs and doing malware detection and removal

I can do maintenance work ie defragment and clean up hard drives.

I can advise on new PC purchases to make sure what you're buying doesn't exceed your needs.

I can set up basic wireless networks.

I can install Windows.

I can also help with file backup strategies and set up one touch backups for home PCs and laptops.

I'm good at thinking on my feet, and I can usually find a solution to most technical issues.

Most importantly, if it's beyond me, I'll say so, and can recommend someone who knows what they are doing more than I do.

I charge $40 an hour for visits to Napier, $50 for visits to Hastings and Havelock North as I have to add the cost of fuel and time.
