Dougie Mackie

Dougie is one of the most trusted and reliable freelancers in the business, he's a lighting camera operator first and foremost who also excels in the edit suite where he's considered to be more proficient then some full-time editors, this is the core of what he does day to day.

In the past few years he has began the transition into a more producer / director role on various projects due to his experience and production knowledge. In 2014 he directed, shot and edited a feature length documentary for the west end musical "Miss Saigon", and was responsible for capturing single handedly all documentary naratives for Michael Bublé's feature film "Tour Stop 148" which was released in cinemas worldwide.

Now in his mid-thirties, having relocated from London to Melbourne, Dougie sets his sights
on the Australian market and aims to continue to grow his network within visual media and produce some award winning content that breathes quality and continues to please
audiences, let the next phase begin!
