Desert Heritage Arabians is based near Geraldine in the South Island of New Zealand. Home to NZ National Champion stallion Shaheen Al Saba (Thaqib Al Nasser (Ansata Halim Shah) x La Moniette (Prince Fa Moniet)); foundation mare SS Shula (Simeon Shemini (Asfour) x Rula (Simeon Shomer)); and progeny of both. Our mare base also has strong ties to the matriarch Windella Silver Fire (Amir El Shaklan x Silver Shimmer) and the Crabbet ‘Silver Fire’ family. The aim is to breed beautiful, versatile and sound athletes with an emphasis on the dry desert type that Arabian breed became famous for. In addition, a trainable temperament is a top priority.
Complimentary to the main breeding programme, are two partnerships with other like-minded Arabian breeders, Talitha and Euralea.
