Dental Personnel

Dental Personnel was founded in 1990 with the intention of providing specialist recruitment and temporary staffing services to dental practices and professionals across the greater Auckland region. It was acquired in 2005 by Michael Whybro who also owns the high end boutique generalist agency - SOS Recruitment (refer: www.sos.co.nz).

We proudly, efficiently and reliably served the Auckland dental industry for the next 17 years before expanding operations to include Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch between 2006 and 2010. This growth was facilitated by the wonderful, and loyal, support of our many hundreds of great clients and thousands of registered dental candidates.

Also in 2010, Dental Personnel made the key strategic decision to begin opening the way for the placement of dentists and other dental professionals "Trans Tasman". This major initiative has been very successful and means we now actively draw top candidates and clients from both the New Zealand and Australian markets and place them in new roles in either country. As a result, we are now the only legitimate Australasian specialist dental recruitment agency!

Dental Personnel is a progressive but very down-to-earth business. We are very aware our business and continued success is all about people. We treat our staff and temps like family and our clients as friends. Our industry is a relatively small and tight knit community of fellow dental professionals and we find that word of mouth from satisfied clients and candidates remains our best form of marketing and testimony of 20+ years of going the extra mile to meet peoples needs.
