Dayspring is a registered charitable trust governed by a Board of Trustees. Dayspring began in 1980 with a group of women who saw a need in the community that wasn't being met.
Since those early beginnings we have been working with vulnerable families and have a long history of positive involvement with mothers and their babies who are living with post-natal depression or an ongoing mental illness.
We have first hand experience on the impact their illness has on the mother/baby bonding processes, and the associated risks of attachment disorder.
Dayspring provides services and programmes that are designed to positively influence the pathways for women and their families.
