Hi, I’m Debbie

You may wish to know a little more about me apart from the fact that I am a Taupo Massage Therapist specialising in health and massage.

Before becoming a Massage Therapist in 1999, my employment was in an office. After having my daughter I was introduced to complementary therapies in which I found very fascinating so therefore, I decided to study for a Diploma in Massage. In 2008 I continued my studies completing the Diploma of Bowen Therapy, and have studied other related modalities within this field. I have also been trained in Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology, Polarity Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Reiki, Quantum Touch, Acupressure, Bowen Therapy, Certificate in Homeopathy, and Bach Flowers. I like to attend complementary health workshops for continuing education and keep up to date with the latest research about all kinds of health and wellness issues with a special interest in mind-body neuroscience and psychology.

My work interests include massage, holistic coaching, healing and meditation, supporting babies to elderly, the recently bereaved, palliative care and those with chronic pain and tension. I especially love my job when a client completely relaxes and floats out the door with a fresh perspective on the world. The skills I have to offer you, are my knowledge of anatomy and physiology, training in various modalities of massage, as well the ability to truly focus on each client and bring my intuitive skills into play by offering the kind of treatment the client most needs on any particular day.

I work with palliative care patients, and get so much satisfaction from this work as I see the patient relax completely, it helps immensely with relaxation and pain relief. It also supports them in there final stages of life.

My goal is to relax, restore, assist you with your healing, for you to experience a world of bliss with the exceptional therapies on offer.

For recreation, I enjoy walking, gardening, meditation, reading, family.

I believe in finding balance in each area of life: personal and spiritual wellbeing, family, health and fitness, work, home and community, the external and internal environment.
