Cherry Farm

Kelli and Darren Milmine own a small cherry tree orchard in the township of Oamaru. The trees are all all on dwarfed root stock, which keeps them small and manageable. They are housed under bird netting, with some being grown in tunnel house conditions. They 'inherited' the orchard when they purchased a small lifestyle block on the outskirts of town, and its turned into a fun sideline job for Kelli while being a stay at home mum to their 3 year old son. In time, the business will evolve to include other cherry products.
