What does a naturopathic initial consultation involve?
An one to one and a half hour long appointment where I will take your thorough health history, discuss any health issues you may have, look at your diet, lifestyle, and energy/stress levels, and any other contributing factors.
After prioritising what you would like to work on, I will formulate a treatment plan which will include nutritional recommendations, lifestyle ideas, and recommended herbs and supplements. If required I can also arrange further testing such as blood tests, vitamin/mineral/toxin and allergy/intolerance testing.

• Naturopathy and Herbal medicine is being increasingly validated as modern science seeks to understand the chemistry of medicinal herbs and to confirm their safety and efficacy in clinical trials.
• Almost any condition that patients might see their doctor for can be treated with herbal medicine. In particular, it is extremely effective for treating disorders of the nervous system, digestive system, immune system and also hormonal complaints.
• A qualified naturopath/medical herbalist knows when a condition is best seen by another health professional and will refer you when appropriate.
