Canterbury Wildcats

The Alloyfold Canterbury Wildcats are Canterbury’s premier women’s basketball team, competing nationally in the New Zealand Women’s Basketball Championship (WBC).
The team is selected through a rigorous trial process, representing the top players in Canterbury.
In addition to representing Canterbury on the court, the Wildcats work to promote basketball in Canterbury and to help younger players develop both skills and a passion for the game.
Several players coach at the high school or representative level, and the team also runs skills clinics at local primary and secondary schools.
Every Wildcat is dedicated to working hard both on and off the court not only to improve their game, but also to serve as a positive role model for their peers and other developing basketball players.
