Bulwer Accommodation

Bulwer is situated in the sheltered waters of Waihinau Bay at the head of the outer Pelorus Sound in the Marlborough Sounds.
The historic homestead at Bulwer, is currently being refurbished and will become the centre of operations for a wildlife sanctuary and nature tourism business in the surrounding area. Waihinau Bay is a short boat ride to the Cook Strait.
It's a great place to holiday with a number of beautiful walking trails, great fishing, kayaking and wildlife watching, or just relaxing reading a book. Spectacular sunsets and idyllic scenery complete the picture - a magical place to visit.

We have 4 baches available to rent. The Bush Inn is well appointed and comfortable for up to 4 people. The Falcon is set amongst lush bush . It has 3 bedrooms upstairs. The Weka has 3 bedrooms and bathroom, a fridge , tea/coffee making facilitities but no cooking facilities so it needs to be booked with the other accommodation. The Tui bach is a smallish bach on the foreshore with a double bed and 2 single bed in the back room.
All four baches enjoy sea views. The area around the lodge, beach and jetty can be enjoyed by guests.
There is a communal washing machine and large deep freezer.
