Brian James Contracting Ltd is a contracting business that provides services to private clients, Local Government and other contractors.

Our work varies from Subdivisions, Sea Walls, Stormwater Upgrade, Pond Cleaning the list goes on.

Brian James Contracting Ltd has a wide range of resources, ranging from 3 – 27 Tonne Excavators, a 15 Meter Long Reach, Rockbreakers, Hydraulic Holeboring, Hydraulic Compaction, Rollers, Loader, and two and three axle trucks

Since commencing in 1982 Brian James Contracting has employed many staff from the local area. Today we have 11 staff, all with a number of years experience in their specialized areas. As Proud Members of the NZ Contractors Federation and Site Safe we have a successful integrated management system and staff training programme. At present our staff are completing Certificates in Civil Infrastructure Heath and Safety and Environment, Infrastructure Pipe laying and Civil plant operation. Brian James Contracting is committed to Health & Safety and The Environment, after achieving ACC Primary Level Workplace Safety Management Practices in May 2011 we are committed to improve our practices and achieve the Tertiary Level by 2012
