The Bernina Sewing Centre Tauranga, is a family legacy in the Bay of Plenty. Established in 1970 by Bev and Ken Hayman and carried on today by their daughters Robyn and Glenda. In fact on some days, there are three generations working in the store and they are all passionate about the business that has survived 38 years, and often has the highest number of Bernina machine sales in Australasia.

In the same building is Bernina Services and Repairs owned and run by Graeme Philp. Graeme is a Bernina technical specialist with 28 years experience and will provide all your servicing and repair needs.

Robyn and Glenda believe their business is for anyone who “creates with their hands in fibre and fabric” so the creativity and energy that pours out of the Cameron Road store, is infectious. A place where customers become friends, and everyone shares in the creation of a project, the Bernina Sewing Centre Tauranga encompasses a sense of community and encourages innovation in its customers, staff and products.
