We run a Preschool Beach Programme promoting water safety and awareness in and around water for children aged 2yrs - 4yrs and their parents/caregivers.
Children learn through play, however they gain confidence and trust through a parent, caregiver or teacher which allows them to feel safe, relaxed and happy.
A happy child will play, which leads to a child learning.
Within our programme we ensure the involvement of the caregiver and teacher at all times for this reason. There are activities in which the parent does not play a role, however they are still to be present within the activity to encourage and support the children and to ensure we are educating both the children and caregiver the importance of ‘Being in Arms Reach’ when in and around water.
Our session activities are based around a lot of key learning's for preschool aged children, fundamental skills, water safety, spatial awareness, being part of a team and many more. These are present within all our activities and over time with repetitive play we see many encouraging signs of progression within a the children.
Our programme runs over the summer months during the school terms.
