The original stud was dispersed in 2011 from the Langtry's Kimbolton property. A select few "favourite" females were retained, and since then, Hannah and Sophie have continued breeding polled hereford cattle under the same prefix.
The herd size remains small, as we promote "quality not quantity". Whilst Hannah is studying a bachelor of AgriScience at Massey Univeristy and Sophie is still at school, the breeding programme remains small and concise, and involves the use of carefully selected sires.
We have always been, and always will be a family operation. Day to day tasks and management decisions are guided and overseen by Mike Langtry. A significant downsize to a property near Awahuri, Palmerston North recently occured during the summer of 2016 where Lorraine and Mike now reside full time.
