Awakeri Rail Adventures and White Pine Bush

Awakeri Rail Adventures and the Department of Conservation work together to enable Awakeri Rail to guide their rail customers through the spectacular native flora and fauna that boarders the rail line called White Pine Bush Reserve as part of their rail trip.

Each time visitors access the Reserve through Awakeri Rail Adventures a portion of their rail fee will be donated to DOC to help fund a joint pest eradication program which will see an increase of native bird life in the reserve.

This is a fantastic way for locals and visitors to be part of an exciting venture and make a significant difference to our environment.
