ATTIC - All The Tea In China

China is without doubt the home of tea, it is the oldest grower and produces the best quality.

In general tea supplied to the Australasian market is from the sub continent, this is a hangover from British rule and traditional trade routes. The NZ tea industry is roughly 90% owned by foreign multinationals now who concentrate on sub continent teas. Further almost all of these teas are blends of ‘fines’
rather than quality leaf tea.

Because of this situation we see an opportunity to introduce high quality Chinese tea to the Australasian market in a format people are accustomed to, i.e. tea bags. We also see increasing demand for Organic products such as ATTIC and a consumer trend to trying new products. Especially teas.
