Jane is a passionate natural health practitioner and has been interested in healing and herbs since a young child, in fact the first herbal remedy out of her first aid kit, was given to her young neighbour , when she was only 7 years old, luckily her Mum was a nurse to back up her treatment… she learned to deeply respect our healing plants.
Jane discovered a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) , it fitted well , it has the physical dynamic and the backup of thousands of years of healing wisdom and herbal remedies
Jane is a general practitioner of Acupuncture treating all aspects of physical and emotional healthcare for the whole family. An area of interest is treating teenagers because she sees great results and understands this is such a difficult and stressful time. Jane also likes to treat children and usually uses tuina which is the TCM Massage tequnique,, the children love the treatments and respond very well.
Jane is a member of the Fertility Acupuncture Chilbirth Team(FACT) working as an acupuncturist for Fertility Associates, and also provides treatments and supervises student acupunctuist in the Hutt Hospital acupuncture clinic for Pregnancy and Childbirth.
