Te Ata West is a born and bred southland girl... After spending the last 5 years in Melbourne Australia pursuing her career in dance and fitness, she has returned home to share the love..

After experiencing International recognition, and travelling to Orlando Florida to attend and present in 2011, and working with some of the best in the field, im so grateful for the experiences and people I am and have shared my Zumba journey.

Zumba Fitness changed my life... with a short attention span, I was searching for a program that kept me stimulated and interested and coming back for more... My journey started with an extra 45 kgs after having 4 children... I remember looking in the mirror and thinking I will never get my body back... considering plastic surgery... that could be life threatening, when really I needed self acceptance and to learn to love myself.

Zumba helped me push past my mental blocks, my physical restrictions and low self esteem... now after nearly 5 years and a year and a bit off, Im back... and wanting to share my love and energy for this program and it's benefits with my hometown... This program is for EVERYONE!
