WGHS Dance

Every Year 9 student experiences dance for 1 term. Year 10 dance is a ½ year course, and from Year 11-13 it is a full year , NCEA University approved course.
As well as developing their movement and performance skills through a wide range of dance styles, students learn increasingly complex choreography skills , and dance analysis technique. In our subject teamwork, leadership and communication are developed. Originality and flair are important and hardwork, determination and effort are absolutely essential.
