Wellington Regional Hospital

The DHB as around 4,300 full time staff and an annual budget of more than $900 million CCDHB is a major employer in the Wellington region.
Over 11.5% of Wellington citizens are aged 65 or over and in Kapiti Coast 24 percent of residents are 65 or over. To support this age group each year the DHB also spends around $58 million on Aged Residential Care, $18 million on Elderly and Disability Support Services and a further $16.3 million on Home Based Care for elderly.
