Wakefield Villa Tearooms and Giftshop

Take a drive out to Wakefield and experience our delicious cakes and light lunches, hot soup for those winter days ahead. The tearooms is within the old Villa with outside seating in the rear garden and a children's play area to keep those little ones entertained while you enjoy a toxic coffee made by one of our trained Baristas Soo, Ally, Kaylie or smell one of our fine teas before making your choice, we also sell local preserves, honey and fudge.
Within our tearooms we also have a book swap, the books are displayed for people to swap books and take them home all we ask is that you put a gold coin donation into the Nelson Hospice Jar provided when you bring a book and take one away. If you do not bring a book but wish to take one home, simply make a larger donation, this is left to your descretion. Lets help those who need it in our community :)
The Gift shop has a gift for every occassion, or just take a browse after visiting the tearooms, we have sourced the giftware far and wide, we have a children's corner with toys, crafts and many gift ideas. Many talented locals also sell their hand made goods from paintings, teddy bears, pottery, cards and merino.
