Waitaki Autism Trust

Members of the trust all have children diagnosed with Autism and have experienced first hand the difficult task of dealing with someone with Autism. We value the effectiveness of early intervention and the difference it can make to the long-term quality of life for children and their families. The Waitaki Autism Trust warmly invites other parents and family members to join them.

What we do.
Our aim is to provide assistance and support families in the Waitaki region.
As parents of ASD children we realise the need for diagnosis and early intervention.

We aim to.
-Help guide families and their first steps to diagnosis.
-Share our experiences and provide emotional support.
-Educate the wider community about Autism and alternative therapies.
-Share a wide range of knowledge for assistance of immediate and future needs.
-Provide assistance by funding ABA theraphy (when possible).
