The Wolf You Feed

The Wolf You Feed is about celebrating the food we can eat, and not worrying about what we can't. The Wolf focuses on creating wholesome food designed to suit a wide range of diets, and to appeal to everyone who loves food that is nutritious, delicious, and predominantly made-from-scratch. The Wolf provides natural foods, made by hand, with an emphasis on flavour and presentation.

The business developed out of a love of creating and sharing food that brings both wellbeing and pleasure. The Wolf demonstrates that wholefoods - rather than highly refined, processed products - can be convenient, easy to prepare, quick to serve, and a treat to eat.

Leaving their careers in Wellington to start a food truck business in Central Otago (and take advantage of all the trail running opportunities), Alex and Em strongly believe in balance in their lives. Giving equal emphasis to work and play, Alex and Em balance the stress and challenge of starting a business with the pleasures of discovering fresh trails and unexplored routes. Similarly, the food created in The Wolf is all about balancing sneaky pleasures with fresh seasonal produce and wholefood-based dishes to nourish both our bodies and our tastebuds.
