Stake Consulting is believed to be the only Concrete Repair / Building Consultancy Company in New Zealand operating a new ground penetrating radar (GPR) machine to detect services, slumps and voids through concrete slabs and walls.
One of the cornerstones of the business at present and into the future will be new-builds. Our focus has been mainly residential dwellings and various motel complexes in the past, but it has naturally developed to also encompass the construction of small to medium commercial building projects.
The new-build team comprises 8 LBP builders, 5 trade-certified builders and up to 10 hammer hands and apprentices. Our success is built on the fact that we will guarantee a skilled labourforce on every job. We have deliberately grown in a controlled manner, meaning any building work is done under the direct supervision of our very experienced foreman / craftsman builders. We pride ourselves on the fact, that we will take the time to research what the client wants and make it happen in a cost effective, timely and skilled fashion.
At present we are building a multi story office block and finishing a 12 unit + managers motel complex. We have recently finished two warehouses and the rebuilding and refurbishment of a large gym. We are due to start a two-stage tilt panel 1800m2 warehouse.
Our teams in the field are backed up by a skilled office team, that not only ensures the costings/chargings are accurate for every job, they also provide compliance with health and safety requirements, random site audits and making sure the required council and engineering documentations are obtained prior, throughout and on completion of each project.
