Welcome to Ponderosa, a quaint oasis situated in the heart of Wellington’s entertainment district. With a plethora of leather, wagon wheel chandeliers and a huge mounted moose head on the wall, Ponderosa is unashamedly plush within the limits of its roughneck style.

Themed from the era in which the infamous name was born, as the dusty cattle ranch in the cult fifties TV show ‘Bonanza’. Leave your guns at the bar and kick back, whilst sampling your choice of cocktail from our unique cocktail menu or fine selection of local & imported beer and wines.
