MV Kacopa is a displacement launch, built in 1970 from Kauri, 9.4m long with a beam of 3.2m and weighing in at 9 tons.
Powered by twin Perkins 4107 diesels she gets along at at 7 knots comfortable no-fuss cruising. Set up for day or weekend cruises, she sleeps 5.
We exist for 2 distinct markets:
1. Business owners, Directors, and Key Executives who want to have a private venue for strategic and general planning, either running this activity themselves or having it facilitated by the Skipper (Steve Punter) - a management consultant, governance trainer and independent director with 30+ years experience - along with catching a trout or two in magnificent surroundings, and:
2. Pure tourism, people who want to go cruising and/or fishing on Great Lake Taupo, the largest body of fresh water in the South Pacific, along with awesome views of the 3 volcanos - Mt Ruapehu, Mt Ngauruhoe and Mt Tongariro
