Looking For America

Looking For America is a solo show written and performed by Indigo Paul, and directed by Katie Burson, with live music composed by Ben Tolich. In it, your living room, office, or miscellaneous space will be transformed into a long-haul bus on which we all get to run away for a little bit. . .

Looking For America traces a two day journey Kiwi Indigo Paul spent on Greyhound buses in the United States. The journey threads many lives into a single exploration of what it means to be a woman in love. Indigo brings to life a host of characters, underscored by live music. Surreal, playful, and moving, Looking For America will have you on the edge of your bus seat - until the driver tells you to get the hell off.
