Having worked with children and babies over the past 10 years, and Amy Smith having a fabulous background in food for years! it appeared to us how the simplicity of feeding your children/babies with wholesome, non processed food can be very hard in this day and age. Amy is a mother of two and all tho Im not a mother, I do have many friends who are, and have worked for working mums who want the best alternative to feeding their babies and children.

Thinking back to when I was a child and a baby, I asked my mum from then till now how food has changed! The simplicity has gone and we are now faced with the convenience of buying a product that may not be what it seems. The major drawback to those store bought foods is that they bare very little resemblance to what good food actually tastes like, probably because the store bought food is so overcooked and processed. In other words, stripped of a lot of its nutrients. And much of it also has fillers, thickening agents and preservatives which are never a good idea.

At least when you purchase food for your baby that has been locally sourced, locally prepared, and has the love that should go into it, you know exactly what's in it and get your little one in the healthy habit of eating realistic flavours. That way when it comes to eating whole veggies later on, your child wont associate them with that other nasty stuff.
