I welcome clients from all backgrounds, age groups, ethnicities, genders and sexualities. I am very interested in how and why we repeat ways of being – why we so often end up in the same situations in our relationships, our work lives and our inner worlds time and again - situations which cause us suffering. I work within a psychoanalytic understanding of the human mind, with a concern for unconscious processes and how these shape our lives and can undermine our relationships, work and play.

I have followed an interest in Psychoanalysis for over 20 years and am currently completing a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy at AUT. My placement within this programme is with the Centre for Lacanian Analysis, of which I am a member. WINZ or Studylink subsidies for counselling or psychotherapy may be available.
