Mick Goodin is the owner / operator of The Gambler fishing charters out of the Bay of Plenty port of Whakatane, New Zealand which has been rated by top fishing correspondents as New Zealand's best all round fishing destination. Together they offer a professional service second to none.

Mick, the skipper, has had fishing experience of 45 years and has been charter fishing in the Bay of Plenty for over 16 years. He holds a current Commercial Launch Masters Ticket.

Josh, our deckie and second skipper is very experienced (and now is fully qualified) . You can take all your catch home whole or Josh is able to fillet your fish on board for a small charge or professionally smoke and vacuum pack your fish overnight at very favourable rates. You can take your fish frames home with you or they can be donated to locals. Nothing is wasted.
