More about Elide Fire Ball New Zealand

The Elide Fire Ball (EFB) is a new innovative fire suppression technology, a world’s first self-activating, un-attended and portable fire suppression ball.

It ensures safety and protects you, your property and equipment against deadly and damaging fires even before it becomes dangerous or deadly.

It is an affordable solution for virtually and situation or scenario where there is a risk of starting or small fire.

How it works
The Elide Fire Ball is placed in areas, spots or places where there is a significant risk of a possible fire starting.
For example, inside a tractor, bus, truck or boat engine bay, over flammable liquids, gas hobs, electrical equipment etc. One can be very creative and come up with a large number of different scenarios were the EFB can be install and used.

Once a direct naked flame come into contact with the EFB, the ball self-activates and bursts, rapidly releasing the well compacted dry chemical powder found in side. The ball is very effective with a range of 9sqm and up to 18 sqm in some cases.

The ball is of high quality and very well made (in Thailand) and does not activate on touch, percussion, vibration, heat, smoke or sensors. It has to have a direct naked flame contact of up to 3 -5 sec to activate

The main purpose of the ball is to be use in a static position over or close to the risk areas, but has a duel use where a person can grab and through the ball into a fire to let it self-active as well if needed.

The ball is very safe and with presents no hard to human animals or property when activated. The burst is not harmful at all with tests and videos to show the ball bursting right next to humans with no harm, and one being activated in a glass box to show that there is no concussive shock and ballistic hazard when the ball activates.
