Gabriel Audio

Gabriel Audio is Vivek Gabriel’s Auckland business specialising in audio engineering, music production, studio equipment construction and repair.

Vivek started playing electric guitar at high school, which led him to build his own electric guitar pedals. This passion grew at university where he studied electronic engineering, followed by music production and sound design.

At his custom-built studio, Vivek has been recording, mixing and mastering projects for accomplished and emerging New Zealand artists. At his workshop he has been busy building various microphones, preamps and compressors. His expertise has also seen him build, repair and consult to numerous professional studios in Auckland.

In the studio or workshop he brings an excellent knowledge of hardware and audio detail, an intelligent musicality and visual appreciation.
